Bought this sofa because I don't like the back split up. I declined other sofas I liked because of this.TO MY SURPRISE, THIS SOFA HAS A SPLIT UP BACK!I wrote the seller (with photos) and asked if they can send me the right back.Their response was -"We need to explain that 360° view is automatically generated by Amazon, whichis not the real view of the sofa. According to your pictures, you have assembledin right way. And the interval between them is a part of our design."THIS IS DECEIVING!My sofa is free floating in the room and it shows. Looking at my pics you can see how the back leans back. You can also see the black brackets between each section. I may paint those so they don't stand out so much. It seriously looks like each section can recline only it doesn't. IF I can buy some fabric that is 100% match, I will cover up the back.Besides the back, I like the look of the sofa. I measured the old sofa and this one is almost exact but it looks smaller. It is certainly very light weight compared to my old one.The seating cushions are very firm. I wish they were a little softer. It "feels" like there might be springs in it. The back pillows were okay but I did what another poster did, I stuffed them with more fluff. Now that it is stuffed, I don't need another pillow at my back to sit comfortably, I'm 5'3. The pillows and cushions were wrinkled but starting to settle down after a few days.Putting the sofa together was simple enough.Overall, I love the look of this sofa but VERY UPSET WITH THE BACK. Again, I bought this one vs others because of the back posted on the ad. The seller had NO REMEDY FOR ME either. I guess I just have to live with this until I decide to get another.After putting it together, I love it. I gave only 4 stars because the back cushions aren't firm enough and started sagging within a week. The seat cushions are very comfortable, though. It is prettyfirm and stiff to sit on.The cushions are very thin and not made to be a regular use loveseat. Perfect for a small side room that won't be used often.Online the product looks great, but in reality it looks cheap.This sofa and loveseat were not what they seemed from the website. Although they were fairly easy to assembly, the overall quality of the product was far less than what we paid for. The sofa and loveseat are not especially comfortable and the cushions - especially the back cushions of the sofa/loveseat are very thin and have little substance.I purchased this for our newly carpeted and painted living room and it is not the quality I expected to put into that room. This set might be good for den or reading room - but not a main room in the house.In addition, when I requested help from the vendor to return this product, I was told that I could not, - even though the sofa was still boxed up and unassembled at that time. The email I received from the vendor was written in very poor English (obviously - not a first language) and just said that even though the product was still boxed in the original boxes, it couldn't be returned because they couldn't resale it??I have made lots of purchases with Amazon, but am not too happy with this one - $1,000+ basically wasted.I received the sofa 3 days after placing my order. My two children, ages 7 and 9, and I put it together in less than 30 minutes. Super easy assembly. It sits rather comfortably, I do wish the back cushions were a bit firmer. I will just add cushion/stuffing to make them firmer, the same is possible with the bottom cushions if you want them firmer. So far satisfied with the purchase!
