The blanket has excellent texture and softness. I've had the blanket for two weeks and haven't experienced any shedding so far unlike another reviewer experienced. I think trying to wash in a washer will cause damage, it definitely feels like dryclean only. (Photograph is with 3500k lighting)Nice, lightweight silk throw. Very plush but it almost feels like it is not 100% silkI finally found THE blanket. After so many iterations, frustrations, and itches, I finally found it. I first planned on getting a faux fur but even the best ones on Amazon still looked pretentious and far from being real. So I opted for alpaca wool since real wool makes me itch. But even the gentlest of alpaca still was itchy. Cashmere was too thin not enough weight to keep it cozy. Polyester is straight up, ew. Acrylic did not give me the punch of luxe. This fabric blend is so perfect and I won't be too worried about screwing it up or accidentally putting it in the dryer since the price point is incredibly reasonable.It's good design. It can be invisible and blend with the atmosphere solving that designer's dread of a decor being ostentatious. It puts in the perfect amount of sheen and pairs well with my espresso leather couch. Above all, it sparks joy.Super soft and cozy. Is a gift, but I might get myself one too! It disintegrates, sheds, and is simply unpleasant to have in your home. Allergy sufferers beware as well.Brought as a Christmas Gift. My sister loves it.
